CONTEXT
Scentless soap, made for the mountains.
As cool air whispers against your skin, sink into the icy water that holds a promise of an empty mind and clean body. Breath in the scent of the rocks, the flowing water, the nature around you untarnished by the overpowering smell of another kind of soap. Glacier.
PROCESS
A hand drawn word mark, built like glacial formations.
I was unsatisfied with the results of my type exploration, so after several rounds of ideation, I eventually hand drew letterforms, scanned them, and used them to create the final design. The triangular shapes are meant to evoke the shapes of ice formations.
CONSTRAINTS
Paper packaging, or reusable pouch.
The uses of the soap are not limited to alpine adventures. It can be used in any context where one would benefit from being clean without carrying an unnatural scent.
